I have had several occasions where I have had to make funeral arrangements, sometimes pre-planned while other times not. Often the circumstances were out of the ordinary, having to wait for services to be held at a later date or in another city. You staff has always been kind, understanding and willing to provide whatever needs and wishes the family has. From Shauna to the office staff to several directors, all are very special to me and my family. I never hesitate to recommend Palmer to anyone, whether they ask or not!

Our loved one passed away unexpectedly in South Bend while visiting, and we had no idea how to manage the situation. Eric took care of all of the arrangements flawlessly and was very communicative throughout the process. Additionally, we had heard of horror stories of funeral homes taking advantage of families out of town with outrageous fees. That did not happen and we are grateful for their service.

I cannot begin to explain how incredibly helpful, compassionate and amazing Kerry Palmer and staff were during my family's incredibly devastating time. Our family (unfortunately) has had to deal with arrangements many times for our loved ones in the past, and this was our family's first time doing arrangements with Palmer. When I tell you it is a total 180 degree difference compared to other places we've dealt with before, I'm not exaggerating. Very honest and upfront, and didn't push to spend money what so ever. When we started to bring up finances, and asked when we should start paying, we were told that it wasn't even a concern yet, and told us not to worry right now. Losing my sister was hard enough without seeing my heart broken parents have to deal with all of this. Palmer Funeral Home handled everything with grace, class and compassion. I will never work with another funeral home. They are in this for the right reasons.
