I ended up at O’Shea Hoey’s after a very abhorrent experience at Farenga (never ever bring your loved ones there, please trust me on that). I cannot speak highly enough about my experience at O’Shea Hoey’s. From the onset, I was immediately put at ease. This is a family owned and ran business, they are truly compassionate, understanding and honest. Their transparency is highly respectable, I have now unfortunately had to use them twice. Thank you O’Shea Hoey for being so kind and genuine, I know this line of work cannot be easy.

I would like to acknowledge everything that O’Shea and Hoey Funeral Home did for us at the difficult time of my mother’s passing. Mr. John Hoey and his staff were thoughtful and kind. Communication was outstanding. All the questions were answered, phone calls promptly returned. John reached out to me so many times from the moment we arrived at the funeral home 5 days before my mom’s death and to the final phone call re my mother’s ashes. If your loved one is a darker skinned person of color bring your own make up artist or have a cremation and use a large portrait during the memorial service. My loved one was completely unrecognizable to our family.
