I am writing to express my profound disappointment and concern regarding the mishandling of my father's memorial stone by your staff. This negligence has caused my family and me considerable distress, especially on Father’s Day. On the day of Father’s Day , I noticed that one stone was placed back to its location and my father’s memorial stone were left on the ground. While the other person’s stone had been put back in place, my father’s stone remained on the ground. When I inquired about this, I was told it was due to a sod issue. This explanation seems inconsistent since the other stone was properly placed. It feels as though this was an excuse to cover up the oversight. When I was eventually informed that my father’s stone had been put back, it was evident from the provided picture that it was placed incorrectly—on another person’s grave. This mistake would likely have gone unnoticed had I not taken and referred to previous photos showing the correct placement of my father’s memorial stone. Can you believe that? They actually put our stone on somebody else’s body. Thank God I had before and after pictures. Pictures I have taken of us cleaning the memory stone clearly show that our stone was between two specific people. Please be cautious because this is a really bad mistake and if you are spending all this money, you want to make sure things are done correctly. The sad part about this is that we have no way of knowing how many other people this has happened to. Who knows if your grandfather, mother, sister, or any loved one’s memorial plaque is sitting on the wrong grave? It happened to me where they went ahead and put the wrong plaque on the wrong grave. Shame on you. Enclosing, if you read the comments that were left prior to me, you can see that this is not the first time mistakes have been made. This has happened to others as well. Mom’s passing was the most difficult experience I’ve ever dealt with. Osceola memory garden staff were extremely professional and reasonably priced. Lina was assigned to handle mom’s service and she was absolutely awesome. I’d definitely recommend their service and for those of us aging, perhaps set up your very own service thus leaving little or nothing for family to deal with. What a phenomenal place of rest. The grounds are immaculate. The staff is courteous and very professional from beginning to end. I attended the wake of my long time farming, friend Youjendra D. Kalicharan (Rudy). Folks came from four different countries and many states to pay respect. Not only was the place accommodating, they graciously extended the wake by an hour, due to the overwhelming attendance. The next day, was the burial, again service was exceptional. If you look at my profile, you see that I visit a lot, a lot of graveyards and cemeteries. This is one of the cleanest most well kept places of rest that I have visited in the entire state of Florida. Kudos to the owners, the staff and visitors for keeping this place of rest such as sacred place.
