Our family is grateful for all the help and swift assistance. Nicole managed in a short time to arrange everything. All staff were accommodating, kind and polite! The space is very beautiful and dignified and brings solace. There is a designated parking lot across from the funeral home, water falls as you enter and a colorful fish tank in the foyer area. We were able to select a casket from their selection available to see in their basement area. Within a few hours staff came to pick up our father-in-law from the hospice and bring him back to the funeral home and have him prepared for the burial.

This is a very overdue, but much-deserved review. A few months ago, I contacted a few local funeral homes seeking guidance about how to go forward with an unimaginably painful situation--the stillbirth of my first grandchild. Immediately upon speaking with Christine, I felt I had found the right match. She, and later Nicole, who guided us through the actual funeral process, could not have been more compassionate, accommodating, and professional. It was one of the worst days of our lives, but New Hyde Park Funeral Home took care of every detail with such grace. I would absolutely recommend them.

This funeral home is staffed by the nicest, most professional, most courteous and warmest people around. One of the funeral directors, Christine is amazingly kind, understanding and doesn't try to gouge or upsell anything when you're mourning. My family and I were treated with the utmost respect and care while we were grieving and numb. Christine saw to it that we were walked through everything and nothing was left to chance. We had other extended family here in the past and several family members of friends and coworkers were also taken here. It is also a very nice, well maintained and clean place. The interior is well decorated and has a cozy feel during the holiday season. It is classy inside and it smells very nice without it being overpowering. It was not at all creepy, run down and cold like some other places I've seen or looked at around the eastern Queens and western Long Island area. The price also beat the funeral homes nearby while the service and the funeral home were so much better.
