Outstanding, lightning fast, professional service with reasonable prices. We highly recommend this place to everyone. Writing this review for my wife, Tatyana Bresler, whose father Eduard unexpectedly passed away on Saturday afternoon, March 30, 2024. We were trying to have arrangements made for the following day, Sunday, so most friends and family could pay their respects to this multi-faceted and super talented sculptor, actor, husband, father and grandfather. By the time we were able to contact other funeral homes late Saturday afternoon, we were told that it's too late for Sunday service. We remembered a commercial that was so professionally made with compassion that we heard numerous times on radio RUSA and decided to give Nevsky Yablokoff a call. We stopped by when it was already almost closing time after 4pm. Marina and Victoria made no promises, but assured us that they would do everything possible to make it happen for Sunday. The reason they couldn't guarantee service was only due to our pre-reserved cemetery being closed on Saturday, so they had no way of confirming with them until Sunday morning. Victoria went over prices and gave us multiple options to choose from. The price breakdown was very clear and easy to understand. When we stopped by Sunday morning at opening time, Victoria and Marina were already on the phone with cemetery confirming the service. While waiting for that we asked about flowers and Marina suggested Lolita flowers vendor and had a catalog with samples and prices to look through. They accommodated our desire to bring in and set up some of Eduard's sculptures and set up easels with pictures. They recommended a Rabbi Yehuda whose service we are also very pleased with. Everything was organized very well, including parking and procession to the cemetery, led by an excellent driver Frank. Frank did his best to ensure that all cars can keep up. The final price did not change and there were no extra charges that were not mentioned before. Thank you , Victoria , Marina and all of Nevsky Yablokoff staff for going above and beyond and for making this difficult time a little easier.
