My recent experience with Bob and the staff at Neely Turowski (Livonia location) was amazing. I took my adult daughter with me to go over the arrangements for my mom. Bob was so easy to talk to. Since this was my daughter's first experience talking with a funeral director she asked him questions that many of us are curious about but would not be comfortable asking. Bob happily answered all of them. We talked for over two hours and even had some laughs. During the visitation and all the way up to the funeral mass, the staff was there to take care of any need we had. They were so professional yet very compassionate. I would recommend Neely Turowski without hesitation for an experience that will leave you feeling at peace with the care that was given to your loved one.

The staff at Neely - Turowski Funeral Home went above and beyond in helping us plan our mother’s cremation. We were able to get our initial appointment within a couple of hours of calling. Privacy is of the utmost concern. Every call I made was handled with respect and courtesy. Due to the service we received, we decided to have Bob handle the headstone arrangements; they take care of all of these arrangements. Much appreciation to the staff, especially Bob, of Neely - Turowski for making an emotional situation bearable. I highly recommend their services.

While the office staff is nice enough the funeral director is kind of off. He stares right through you when you're talking to him. My family had used Neely Turowski for more years than I've been alive, dating back to when they used to be in Detroit. When my mom died I did some price shopping and found another local funeral home that had nicer funeral directors, a bigger lounge, and more modern decorating. The price difference between Neely Turowski and the place I selected was a couple thousand dollars. Just goes to show that just because your family had always gone somewhere it doesn't mean it's the best option. Do yourself a favor and shop around.
