Usually have great experiences with this place, especially with the cremation of fur babies, but we paid for extra paw prints and only one was made. Funds were returned but it is a huge upset for our family and that is not something we can just redo. For being in the funeral industry, I would hope they would be more attentive to details like that. As you can see obviously it is the patron’s fault for the way the director misinterpreted the way their admin staff wrote out the receipt. It was charged in the way we had requested but didn’t work out that way. That’s unfortunately how social media works though, you mess up its public. As there is no way for us to get paw prints or anything again, this 1-star review is all I can do to make myself feel not so angry and upset in this time of grieving and maybe people will see it in the future and won’t face the same problem.

The care that Montgomery & Steward gave my family as they helped arrange services, etc, for my grandmother on very short notice is beyond words. It is never an easy experience dealing with the death of a loved one, but knowing that my grandmother was treated with respect and kindness and that her husband’s wishes for her service were honored helped tremendously. Thank you!
