I wanted to take a moment to share my good experience with T.G. McCarthy Funeral Home. This is a truly professional place from staff to the facility. I can say that I had great interaction with the staff and they are very compassionate, wonderful folks. I honestly cannot think of anything they could do to improve. Take a moment to read their history, dating back to 1887.

After putting out the obituary for my great grandma they called her daughter-in-law asking for a nother picture of her because they couldn't identify her!!! She was picked up from the nursing home so how do they not know who she was? Then today she went to go get her ashes and they couldn't couldn't find her ashes! Who is running this place because they are horrible!

Each time I was at the funeral home, the staff was very welcoming, kind, and willing to take time to listen. I was asked many times if there was anything else I needed, and was told to let them know if I thought of anything. Kristin has such a calming personality. As I worried she provided me feedback which gave me great comfort. She would make suggestions which helped guide me through some special touches I would not have otherwise thought of for my mother. I would call her and ask to make changes as I would think, and at no time did I feel I was bothering her...she simply said, "We can do that". Kristin allowed me to be a part of every aspect of my mother's preparation for her special day. That meant so much to me, as memories of my dear mother continued through the day of her service. Kristin continues to keep me up to date about my mother's travel to Arlington. It is so comforting to know that when in a time of great grief and sadness, there are people like Kristin and her staff ! Thank you very much!!
