Disappointing experience AGAIN. Both elder Auxter's are without compassion and are completely disconnected from the people they are providing service too. They have forgotten the service and support portion of a family funeral home in our very small community. Actions / body language shows their disinterest in what they are doing. They do not offer coffee or water, other than the drinking fountain from 1952 and frown upon you bringing your own. Rush you out while trying to gather belongings. Travel to the cemetery was a complete mess without a procession. Instruct everyone to have cell phones off during services all while they are texting on theirs. Definitely not a place I would recommend or a place I wish to go to again.

Mitchell auxter Funeral Home has handled the Gilbert and Stokes family from the Vickrey area for quite some time. My mother passed away in 2019 and her sister, my aunt, passed away in 2021. I also made my own arrangements at this Funeral Home for hopefully well into the future. Dean & Melinda Auxter are caring and helpful folks who really assist in times of need when taking care of a loved one who has passed.
