Our experience with Meadows Funeral home was superb. From beginning to end they showed compassion and concern. Since this was an extraordinary situation long distance planning they took extraordinary care to make sure all details were handled. Every associate did a great job but we mostly worked with Ms Tan, who took care of the relative needs from Albany to Chattanooga. The customer service and quality was amazing. I highly recommend Meadows for your families needs.

Although, the passing of my beloved Grandmother was truly sad. (1) At least there is a comfort knowing that her earthly remains and Celebration of Life services [COLS] was done professionally with care, deciency, and in order. Please note that Grandma was suffering from the final stages of dementia, and on previous trips, although it was nice to see her smile, it was tough seeing her in a deteriorating condition. (2) Yet, during the morning of Friday, 7-23-2021; I drove in from out of town and went straight to Meadows towards viewing my Grandmother for the last time [in this current system] and she appeared to be at peace, with her hair done, and she wore one of her favorite dresses. At her viewing, in addition to the standard guest book, open casket, and flowers setting; Meadows ,played a video supplied by our family, on a modern and maintained television. Furthermore, Meadows made a themed large quilt with the patttern based from one of my Grandmother's picture. (3) Grandma had two COLS, via virtual and graveside, of which Meadows developed two separate professional programs. Several of us watched the virtual via Zoom, at my Grandparents home. Thus, upon time to prepare for transport for the graveside service, Meadows arrived at their home, after the virtual concluded. Yet early enough to coordinate with family leadership for final instructions, and take my Grandfather to graveside service, thus he could he could give his final farewell to his wife of 66 years. (4) Again, the graveside service was done professionally, with decency, and in order. This includes Meadows having an updated video camera, positioned in a 'back middle angle' thus it covered the entire service yet allowed everyone ample room to maneuver. (5) Yes, I will truly miss my beloved Grandmother, yet comforted that her Celebrations of Life, were done in an expertly and caring manner. Thanks Meadows Funeral Home!
