As any death experience would be, my wife’s death was way too soon and so painful. Her passing was hard on myself and her sons. Chad and his staff at Young Funeral Home were above board and honest about everything. They were easy to deal with in every detail. What was most appreciated as a grieving husband, they conducted all the arrangements and the services with such professionalism and dignity. When Chad and the staff use the phrase “we care” they mean it. They show it with all they do for the families. The Young Funeral Home staff conducted everything with such compassion and expertise that my wife was honored and her life and memory celebrated and respected. Thank you to Chad and all your wonderful staff. All your efforts, your acts of grace, your loving encouragement made this very difficult process so much easier.

As a pastor I've officiated many funerals and worked with a lot of funeral homes. Young is at the top of the list. Chad, Hunter, and all their team took care of us. Their tag line 'Our family taking care of your family' is more than a slogan; it was the truth for us. Even more important than pastor, this time they took care of my family too. The Owens Family would like to thank Chad, Steven, Hunter and the Youngs Funeral Home Staff for all of the help that was given to us after the loss of my brother, Raymond Christopher "Chris" Owens. We are truly grateful for all of your daily support throughout our time preparing for the days ahead prior to the service that was given on Chris's behalf. The set up was truly wonderful overlooking the river and could not have been more perfect. Chris (I am sure) was looking down with a huge grin on his face and possibly his tongue sticking out (a signature facial expression for him). The obituary was especially fitting, for it was very personable and summed his life up just as we knew it. We will long treasure the video that was compiled and the portrait that was given to us after the burial service. Your professionalism and kindness over the days just before Chris was laid to rest was a blessing.
