From our first contact with Jim Meyers and his Daughter Veronica, our family was so very pleased with their professionalism, empathy, yet down-to-earth approach when our Father, Sister, and Mother passed away during these past few years. Tom McGodrick has been a staple in the local community and changing owners did nothing to lessen the personal engagement generations of us have experienced. It's not only how they handle meetings and follow up questions, but on the day of the funeral, they had the appropriate number of ushers who were so involved in every detail, never wanting us to do anything ourselves. They always asked if there was anything else they could do for us. Thank you does not seem adequate enough for their guidance, flexibility, and genuine concern.

My mother passed away , and my father and I were both traumatized. Dad called Jim and we met with him the very next day . Jim had already gotten my mom from the hospital in the city . He was very compassionate and very professional . Thru the week I must’ve called him 100 times. Questions, concerns , changed our minds back and forth on funeral plans . Jim was so accommodating and so good to us . He was understanding and valued my concerns . I was nervous to how my mother would look at her viewing . Jim respected this very much. Jimmy (the other jim) made sure to make my mom look great . They did an amazing job . The service went very well , they were so good to us . Pouring rain and they got soaked ! My mother’s gold ring had been lost and Jimmy was in the phone instantly with Univ of Penn ! He worked hard and found my mother’s ring ! On the same day during the funeral ! Everything was perfect . I couldn’t have been happier with their services , their compassion, their accountability, their dedication . They made the worst week of my life so much more bearable . 5 stars is not enough for this funeral home . I am so thankful and so impressed with how great they made my worst days so much better . McGoldricks Funeral Home, and Jim Myers and his family in particular, were excellent, and compassionate, in the handling of my mother's arrangements. They were attentive to every detail, and extremely patient with all of my many questions. There were no surprises when it came to the prearrangements. Elizabeth and Verinica were also very helpful with the "Tribute Book", which I would recommend to anyone using their services. Thanks again for making what appeared to be a daunting task, during a sad time, easy to handle. Mike Wall
