This is directed to Tinika Ifill who wrote a review she had no right to who has no right to use the last name of Ifill. First the director there Ricky is considered family and the person who wrote that horrible review is not. I am the aunt of the deceased person she is the daughter of my sister. The director conducted my niece’s service with the most professional and loving care as she has always for our family. The building was filled to over capacity with people outside that could not be admitted. There were people who were not family who were there at the time designated just for family. Me as a blood relative could have asked that they be removed but didn’t, of course there were people who cared for my niece that couldn’t get in because of the amount of people who came, that could not be helped. We the Smith, Auletta family, applaud the extreme efforts and loving care given by Martins Home for Service as usual bending over backwards to accommodate our every need, in the time of our most extremely devastating moments. Also the remark about the programs not received as long as the real family members got one that is all that matters. If a family member or dear friend didn’t receive a program you can contact me. I have gone to staples and had more made for that purpose. If you fit the above category you know how to contact me. Again, thank you Martins, Rochelle ( Ricky) for your outstanding professional, loving caring, at the time of our need.

March 2nd ,2024 we laid my aunt to rest and our family received so many complaints about the funeral home directors because they were very pushy and sarcastic… even considered rude. They were selective with who they handed out obituaries to even though there was more than enough for the guests…. My aunt was born and raised in Montclair, so naturally many people came out to pay their respects. The funeral home closed and locked the doors!!!!. Ppl had to knock on the doors in order to be able to come in which was disturbing prayer, and perspectives. They were literally arguing with people who came to pay the respects telling him that they cannot come in even taking them that the service was almost over. ( when it wasn’t !) Well doers and the directors were literally arguing while family and friends were trying to pay their Respects. It was so embarrassing and unprofessional! U have never attended a service where the funeral home locks the doors , interrupts the service and stops people from coming in. I wouldn’t recommend this funeral home to active honoring their loved ones. You’ll leave upset and disappointed!!!

Martin's Home For Service Inc., On May 6, 2022, you honored my Great Aunt Gin with the most personal, warm, and kind Homegoing Service I've ever seen on Zoom. You were so accommodating and friendly throughout the entire service from your welcoming throughout to the internment. Aunt Gin's sister said you've been taking good care of the family for decades.
