I had my husbands funeral here. We were so impressed of the job they did the compassion they showed. How caring everyone is. I gave them the information needed they handled it from there. Thank you House of Wheat. It was perfect.

My husband and I were impressed with a funeral service held by House of Wheat on May 8, 2024 at the VA Dayton National Cemetery. We arrived early and were greeted by the owner, Wayne Wheat with his assistant, Vincent. They arrived by limo on time and were dressed attractively formal, very professional. We had pleasant conversation while waiting for the others to arrive. They went out of their way with kindness to all who attended. They gave a brief and effective service, giving Bill Cotton the recognition he so deserved. They offered assistance following the service and we appreciated their kindness and support. It is with our deepest heartfelt thanks that we thank the staff of House of Wheat for their service. What was one of the most difficult and saddest time of our lives was made bearable because of your extreme compassion, gentleness and patience. Ann was very patient as we worked through many different funeral options and accepted phone calls to discuss each one. An excellent example of someone who helps make a devastating situation into one that is filled with care & truly makes you relaxed & calmer and able to deal with the death of a loved one. Stacy conducted himself in a very professional manner, truly kind and caring to our needs and could not have been any more helpful at a very difficult time. Everything was wonderful. Tony did an outstanding job. His attention to detail impressed all of us. Very kind and caring to our needs. He truly looked peaceful after all he had been through during his last few weeks.
