Just this month we used Lawn Funeral Home for the wake of my father in law. It is a funeral home we have used in the past and have always felt supported and welcome. For this recent visit it was my first time planning a funeral myself and I was met with warm- kind people each step of the way. From the first call coordinating picking him up. To the meeting scheduled the very next day to go over arrangements. Everything was explained in detail and we were given paper copies of everything. The staff was empathetic and made a difficult and confusing time be less stressful in the best way they could. When it came time to the wake- they did a great job on my father in law. We were worried he wouldn’t look like himself and he really did. Friends and family stated he looked as though he was just sleeping. They were great with communication between us and also the cemetery. They spoke to them and helped ensure everything would run smoothly the day of the burial. Shortly after the services we got the call that the death certificates were already back. Which told me they had a sense of urgency and filed the paperwork right away. Someone who specifically stands out is Keith. He was the person who talked us through everything- took our calls and was there until the very end. We are truly grateful for him & the wonderful staff we encountered .

Today, my children’s grandfather went to lawn funeral home in Burbank, and came back to explain to me that the Director was the biggest a hole that he ever ran into. He would not allow my son’s grandmother to be comfortable in a couch placed in front of the coffin he only offered her a hard wooden chair and would not allow my son to move a couch in front of the casket. He was very curt wish my son and the family and then another incident happened with one of the families friends that tripped on a loose rug and fell and hit her head on a glass table in the parlor, and the Director came out of his office and stood there and looked at her like she did something wrong and turned around and walked back into his office without saying a word, I’m not sure who this man was but in future references, we will never wake another relative at this funeral parlor again my son was ready to knock this man to the ground but he is a better man than the one that runs your funeral home

I cannot say enough about how kind, respectful, compassionate & most helpful Keith, Chris & Mary have been with me making my mother's arrangements very recently. They are amazing in every possible way. They took such care in doing what I wanted for my mom, answering all the questions I had, & made perfect suggestions that were not overpowering when I couldn't think or see straight. My mom's, (& awhile back my dad's)arrangements were handled with the utmost care & concern that I have not one iota of regret calling Lawn Funeral Home. THANK YOU for your services and help.
