When I lost my husband several weeks ago, I wasn't sure what steps to take while we navigated the process of memorializing him. In such a difficult time it's hard to focus on the decisions that need to be made along with the many other tasks that come along with funeral arrangement. Not only did we put together a beautiful service honoring my husband, I felt supported & not so alone in navigating this unexpected change. The business relationships established with The Rose Shop & Le Jardin event center helped ease the burden of navigating vendor options & the pricing was exceptional. Especially given the quality of the service & venue. From the planning process to clean up of the breathtaking gardens from the luncheon, we were well taken care of. Kathy with the aftercare service provided by Larkin has been thorough, detailed & informative as we have begun the process of managing life after loss. Not only do they help as life begins to move on, they provide support in unexpected but appreciated ways through suggestions on where to find grief counseling and group therapy options. We had such a great experience working with Garrett Nelson at Larkin Mortuary. It’s an uncomfortable process to plan for our future demises as well as that of our disabled adult son. Garrett was understanding, sensitive, never pushy, and made some great suggestions that helped us deal with color preferences, etc. I mentioned that we travel and he offered a really good insurance policy to pay the costs of transport if anything happens while we’re traveling anywhere in the world.

Benjamin was wonderful to work with for my pre-planning needs. He dropped what he was doing on short notice to drive me and my mom around the cemetery on his golf cart to find the perfect location for our future final resting spots. He also helped us get ideas at Rocky Mountain Monument for our headstone designs. The cemetery and adjacent venues are beautiful and well maintained. He made it convenient to sign and pay for the arrangements in a DocuSign e-mail, so I didn’t need to return unnecessarily.
