Would give them a 0 out of 5 if I could. They are wayyyy behind in the technology department. Had to have our pictures and music on a DVD which takes weeks!! We had to bring our own TV bc the one they have is so outdated you can't hook anything up to it! Also spent two hours there looking for a casket "big" enough for my uncle who wasn't even HUGE!!!!! She had him measured b4 we even got there so that should of been figured out before we even arrived!!!! They charge you an arm and leg for EVERYTHING!!!! And to top it all off They put in the wrong size volt and he was NOT able to be buried that day!!!! They also lied and said once the casket was shut they couldn't reopen it!! We wanted to make sure he was in the clothes we wanted him in bc after everything they did we didn't trust them. What a way to treat the grieving!!!!! I would not recommend this funeral home. Take your loved one somewhere else!!!!!!!!

We are thankful for all that Lancaster Funeral Home has done to help us during this hard time. However, Terry the receptionist is anything but accommodating. She was rude, disrespectful and insensitive to, not only me but, multiple family members. Also, the technology is behind the times- all of the equipment is from the early 2000s. My advice would be to upgrade the system in order to make the time more seamless for those suffering when experiencing loss. We do appreciate Brittany and her helpfulness as well as the efforts of Hazel- however Hazel was very clearly a businessman and the sensitivity of funerals are not his strong suit. But once again, Terry was less than helpful and should not be the person individuals should have to deal with when they are experiencing the loss of a loved one.

My dad has been friends with Hazel Cauthen and everyone at Lancaster Funeral Home. We always could make payments with anyone that we took there. We have only used this funeral home. My dad past away and of course we told them to use Lancaster. Brittany came and picked up his body. We went and done arrangements with Brittany. She was very nice and she said y’all can come and settle after probate. Well we get a phone call when we get home. Derrick Robinson ( manager) said we had to pay the full amount before they can proceed with the funeral. This is going to hurt the business cause not everyone can some up with 10,000. Brittany keep up the good work just like Hazel taught you. Derrick is going to hurt the business.
