I would have loved to give 5 stars.My DAD that I have new all my life passed away 03/28/23. His body was transfer from Lakeland regional hospital. My sister wanted to see our dad for 10min. The employee that was taking care of us said that will be a $1,000 fee.Imagine this.No one informed us it will be a fee to see our loved ones 10min. I asked other crematorium and they said some have fees but for 10 min they could have worked something out. The other staff were great and compassionate. I would have said 5 stars. Please inform families about a fee you have to pay to see and say buy to your love ones. Thank you everything else was nice.

The care we received was pleasant, congenital and efficient. They were attentive and caring about any concerns we had ,and had answers. Would highly recommend Lakeland Funeral Home !

I had a couple of issues with this funeral home. I lost my Mom the end of September 2024. I chose this home because of the good reviews. I did a cremation only. No service or anything. So the first impression was not that great. Guy sitting at front desk doesn't even sit up or greet us. Had to walk up to the desk and say hi to him. Then I asked for the ashes to be be split into four bags , and when I came to pick up the ashes, they were not, so I had to sit and wait for them to do that. Then I get home and part of the ashes were put into 4 really tiny bags, instead of splitting all ashes up evenly. Which was asked for twice, and still got it wrong. Lastly , I just wanted to say that after everything you go through when you lose a parent , and then I had to get a bill in the mail which shows that I’m over 30 days late paying some $95.00. I paid the full amount when I went to the funeral home , and I have receipts to show a zero balance and they have the nerve to send me a $95 bill when they actually owe me five dollars ,because they didn’t have change when I paid in hundreds. From the looks of the receipt, they’re trying to charge me for the death certificates and permission to cremate , twice. Unreal. They were very unorganized and I would not recommend. Maybe all the good reviews are from people who’ve had funerals or something, and spend more money . I’m not sure , but my experience was not the best. I would’ve appreciated a call, letting me know that they “thought” I owed the money instead of just receiving something in the mail unexpectedly. That would have been more professional in my opinion.
