I will never ever deal with a place like this again. Have tried to pay this place for my mother's cremation a couple of times. Each time Corey wants to charge me 3% on a debit card. No not a credit credit a debit card. Nobody charges 3% on a debit card. Also, during a conversation with Corey I was told "I did you a favor taking a body from that building". Where the hell is your compassion? "A body"? Really, this was my mother. I have been trying to pay him but he is extremely rude and when I have called him he has told me he is only one answering phones and he will call back. I have never experienced such rudeness, at a funeral home nonetheless. I do not recommend this business at all.

We just lost a loved one and needed to get information about the process as all of this was new to us. The guy we spoke with was EXTREMELY INSENSITIVE and RUDE. I am not one to leave reviews unless I strongly like or dislike the service and this one I STRONGLY DISLIKED. It was the best option financially BUT we ended up going with another funeral home. This is a very sensitive time and instead of being helpful the guy was completely the opposite. This is the last place anyone should work at if they lack compassion and patience. I would NEVER use this funeral home!!

DO NOT USE THIS FUNERAL HOME they are not only RUDE, AGGRESSIVE, and have ZERO EMPATHY, they are THIEVES. we laid our 8 year old cousin to rest on Monday and during the service we asked Scott for more coffee to which he responded “no your family drinks too much” he also had my aunts clean up and vacuum!! when my cousin (the mother) had us ask for the keys for the acrylic box holding cards that people left for the family, scott said WE COULDNT TAKE THEM BACK and would have to get them tomorrow with the flowers and everything else. my cousin had a bad feeling about it so she took pictures of the box before she left. the next morning when we got there she noticed right away the box was missing cards. when taylor the secretary/assistant went to open the box, she didnt even use a key, she simple moved a piece of the acrylic over and shook out the contents. (later on she stated that that was the way she had been shown to open the box) after we had our church service and we went to talk to the funeral director & owner, they were all so rude. they kept telling us that their worker was not “assertive and would never tell us to clean up after ourselves or that we couldnt have more coffee, and thats a fact”. LAIRD as a whole is responsible for the money and cards that went missing and most importantly the 45 minutes my cousin and her husband LOST with their SON while trying to figure the situation out. not ONE APOLOGY was given to the parents, all they did was give them the money back that they paid for to rid themselves of the problem. PLEASE do NOT use this funeral home. despite the location or pricing, think about using another funeral home. they took advantage of a grieving vulnerable family and finally got caught with evidence to back it up. who knows how many other people they have done this to or what other shady things they have done.
