I have used Kapinos Mazur for the last 4 close family members funerals. They are extremely professional and empathetic. My mother passed recently and was very sick prior to her passing. Kevin did an amazing job making my mother look natural and beautiful. I am so pleased with their work. They made the planning process easy during a very difficult time. I was at the Kapinos-Mazur Funeral Home yesterday for the memorial service of a nine month baby who passed away after a serious heart surgery. I was there to support the devastated parents and their three little girls who had lost their baby sister. Maxine and John were amazing, kind and professional. They let the family have a large private room (holding the little casket) for five hours. Maxine provided the three sisters with paper and crayons so they could write letters and draw pictures for their baby sister. It was her amazing idea that children should be able to express themselves at this sad event. The three angels perked up and left the funeral home much later with peace in their heart. Thank you very much for this unique and memorable experience.

I have known the owners of this funeral home for many years. Most recently, they handled the final arrangements for a close family member. Maxine Mazur and her staff were kind, caring, and professional in all aspects of their work. I highly recommend the Kapinos-Mazur Funeral Home, not only to Ludlow residents but for residents of other towns, as well. We chose direct cremation arrangements with a memorial service to be held in Northampton. They supported us in doing exactly what we wanted to do, in our way, with no pressure or “up-selling” that I have seen happen at other funeral homes. The Kapinos-Mazur Funeral Home will handle my final arrangements, as well.
