Miss Alex was such a delight to work with! Even though there was some delay on our end with making pictures and information available for her to create the program and video she was always patient and gracious in her dealings with us. We truly appreciate her warmth and professionalism at time such as this.

We used JT Fisher Funeral Services to prepare our Mother Ruby N. Brown when she passed away March 17, 2024. JT Fisher Funeral Services are extremely short staffed. The Funeral Director Nichol Fisher has no bedside manners, was sullen and unsympathetic. The Funeral Home makeup artist did a horrific job and looked like she spread Mud makeup on my mother’s face. The makeup artist was very unprofessional, and carried her makeup cosmetics that she used to do her face, in a dirty white paper bag. Our family insisted on them asking the makeup artist to come back to redo her face which was upsetting to us. On the day of the funeral, the Funeral Director (Nichol Fisher) did not line the family up when we entered the Church so we had to do it ourselves…according to siblings, grandkids, great grandchildren etc. JT Fisher placed the obituary programs on the table before we even entered the church and did not instruct the ushers to wait to pass them out until we entered the church. We specifically asked them not to display or pass out any of the programs but they did it anyway. We ran out of programs before the service even started! Some family members didn’t even get one. To make matters worse, Nichol Fischer, the funeral Director did the unspeakable! She did not give us a five minute warning or any warning as they promised, before closing my mother’s casket. We had to rush to the casket and then they shooed us away! We looked at the clock and we had at least two minutes to say our final goodbyes before the program started and they still proceeded to shoo us away and closed the casket! We were devastated that we didn’t get a proper time to say our final goodbyes. The Funeral Director (Nichol Fisher) never asked who the pallbearers were and gave them no direction, where to sit or what to do or when. They did not provide them any type of instruction as to when they should file out after the service, how to lift the casket and gave them no signal when the service was over. JT Fisher did not provide white gloves, for the pallbearers and when we got to the cemetery, the casket almost fell when they took it out of the hearse because they were not given any instructions on how to lift the casket out. The chauffeur which was hired by JT Fisher did not move to help or instruct them how to properly take the casket out of the hearse until someone asked them to help. Mind you that the pallbearers were all family and had no knowledge of what to do when to do it. It was the worst experience we have ever had with a funeral home and my mom would’ve been extremely sad and disappointed. God rest her soul in eternity.

As my family and I went through the planning portion for our mother's home going service, it became more and more evident to us that JT Fisher is incredibly understaffed. There were several occasions when we were given the wrong paper work and when we were misinformed. We became disenchanted early on. The funeral director's dead pan facial expressions and communication style was a turn off. The only reason we continued with the process was because our Mom, for some reason, had
