Sadly, I had to bury my husband in 2020 and my 99-yr-old mother recently, in February 2024. Both times, we used the sevices of Pittsburgh Cremation & Funeral Care. They were wonderful. The facility is gorgeous and first-class. They have two large, multi-tiered shelf units where you can display photos and other momentos that were special to your loved one. Many of the people who came to the viewing commented on what a nice touch that was and how it added so much meaning to the visitation, along with the digital slide show presentation, which they facilitated. The large water feature is unique, peaceful, and soothing. You can even have them order the flowers for you, saving a trip to the florist at such a stressful, busy time. Sandy, April, and Sydney were so caring and professional during such a difficult period, and, despite there being so many details to attend to, everything went smoothly and seamlessly. I would definitely recommend Pittsburgh Cremation & Funeral Care.

Unfortunately on Valentines Day 2024 my wife passed away from complications from pancreatic cancer. While this was expected due to the terminal diagnosis, it was still a daunting experience. Her wishes were to be cremated only, no service, no viewing which I totally respected. The question to me was where. I am familiar with the larger, mainstay mortuaries but to me that was not her. I met with Abby who was kind, compassionate, and empathic and she explained the process end to end. They handled everything I needed with this part of the logistics of the cremation, communicated the progress and I could not ask for more from them. If you lose a family member and need funeral services I suggest you give them a call and discuss their offerings and I think you will not be disappointed.
