The funeral director showed up late to our meeting and he was wearing a dirty T-shirt and shorts. He did not present himself in a professional manner. On the day of the funeral he pulled the guest book before the service even started. We had people who showed up late from work who never got to sign the book. Even the obituary cards were all removed! At the end of the service, we had a bagpiper play Amazing Grace and he was going to perform a walk-out which means that he would continue playing as he left the funeral home. As soon as he got to the door the director let him out and immediately shut the door on him. The bathroom wasn’t stocked with toilet paper and there was only one for women and one for men. There was a side room where we were told the bagpiper could play that was filled with all kinds of items that were just being stored. It looked terrible! I realize that this is the only funeral home in the area but that shouldn’t make it alright to provide sub-par service to families that are going through a tough time. I do NOT recommend this funeral home. It is worth spending a little more and going somewhere else!!!

Our family has been dealt with John Quint Treboni twice in the past several months with loved ones in our family. We love the personable atmosphere and small business owner feel. The funeral director was a pleasure to deal with and led us thru our journey helping us to save some money and deal with difficult estranged family members. He worked within our budget and gave us several ways of keeping the costs down. He gave us all the time we needed even though we know he was extremely busy as there were several other families he was dealing with. We have been to many other funeral homes throughout the years but this one has several large rooms and beautiful landscaping with lots of flowering shrubs. A real welcome from the typical ever green shrubs that most businesses have. While we hope to not be seeing them anytime soon, we are glad that after 100 years they are still part of the community.
