mommas funeral was AMAZING. I worked with Jon. They did absolutely perfect from the time they picked her up to the time she was picked up from cremation. They always showed respect and courtesy to her and the family. When it’s time for your loved one to pass I suggest this company. They are a family owned business, They were reasonably priced and offered so much. they were excellent. They have 2 locations to serve you. We used the Victorian Village one momma would have been ecstatic she was being held in “ Victorian Village.”

It’s been 4 years since my father has passed and the incident from Shaw Davis funeral home still goes through my head daily. Everyday my dad wore a diamond stud earring, and a silver cross neckless. When I got the news of his passing I called both the coroner and the funeral home, multiple times, on different days asking if they found those specific belongings. Both places said they couldn’t find them multiple times. After about a week or two the funeral home informed me they had the jewelry . Upon retrieving the items I was only given his wallet. (The man was a Davis but I can’t recall his name) I asked the man if he could return the jewelry and after he said “I can go check” he proceeded to bring me my father’s jewelry which was covered in his rotting flesh and maggots, in a plastic bag. My father was found partially decomposed, however I find this unacceptable and a simple rinse with tap water would have done the trick. I don’t think anything can be done to fix this memory, but I hope they show more consideration to other people in similar situations.

In hard times this family owned business was there to help. I would highly recommend their services to anyone in need. Not only were they extremely friendly and knowledgeable, but their pricing was well below their competitors. They went above and beyond in their service and made they best out of a not so pleasant situation.
