I can't possibly begin to express how grateful my entire family is for the Herron family. After my mom's unexpected passing, we had no idea what to do. Dimitri and Paula guided us through every single step with compassion, grace, and love. My moms family and friends cannot say enough positive things about her service! They also referred us to other people that we needed to contact who are just as amazing as they are! A month ago, I would have never imagined I'd be where I am today, but my heart has been able to rest a bit more peacefully knowing we were in the hands of the Herron family. I am forever grateful 🙏 💜

Being in the precarious position of having a terminal illness my family and I decided to make arrangements with Herron Funeral Home. Demetri was incredibly helpful, compassionate, and thorough while guiding us through the process. His advice and anecdotal knowledge of all aspects of the planning process really gave me peace of mind. His sister Paula and sons Connor and Drew, who happened to be on site, gave us a warm empathetic greeting and made us feel welcomed. Beyond the professionalism and dedication, the facility is a spacious architectural marvel that is meticulously maintained, impeccably decorated, and filled with history and nostalgia yet has modern conveniences such as a spotless showroom and a crematorium. The Herrons turned what I imagined to be one of the most difficult days of my life into a seamlessly relieving process; and for that reason I highly recommend them for the care and service I received.

My mother pre-paid for a casket funeral but, per her later wishes, was cremated with a simple memorial service. At my mother's May, 2014 service, a Herron Funeral Home director twice stated that my family would receive a partial refund of her pre-paid funeral expenses. Two months later, the funeral director again promised my sister a partial refund during a follow-up visit to the funeral home. This was the last time Herron responded to any of our communications. Herron Funeral Home has not responded to our numerous phone calls and letters. Our attorney requested a reconciliation of the pre-payments and expenses related to the memorial service. Once again, there was no response from Herron. I find Herron Funeral Home's handling of this matter to be unprofessional, unethical, rude and uncompassionate during our time of grieving.
