Recently lost my mom 6/23/24 in her apartment. The funeral home picked my mom up in a timely manner. Step by step process was easy for me. Professionalism maintained at all times no matter how many questions/requests I had. Mr. Clora Sr, Dennis, and DemMyah. I appreciate you. To all that serviced my family and I during the day of Celebration thank you for your patience and kindness! My mom looked beautiful. So close to looking like herself.

This has to be the worst funeral home in Detroit. These people have no compassion or empathy. I would never EVER recommend them to anyone if you care about your loved one. They don’t answer their phones & they use a call center, so when you call & inquire about anything, it’s always “we will have them call u back” & they NEVER call you back. You have to keep calling until you get the answers you’re looking for. They are very rude. The day of my fathers viewing, the director took our obituaries & disappeared for 30 minutes leaving us unable to hand them out to family & friends. Losing my father has been a tough loss & dealing with a funeral home like this made the whole experience even worse! I regret it every time I think about it. They weren’t understanding about anything. My mother didn’t want to come into the home for anything because this is a hard loss for her obviously & they didn’t accommodate her, they forced her to come inside anyways. It was a very tough 2 weeks for my family & I. They also misplaced our guestbook which we are still trying to locate & it has been almost 2 weeks. Please do not waste your time & energy here with these folks. Trying to support black businesses but this one is not recommended. Big thumbs down! Go to Swanson or OH Pye. Don’t even call them. Worst funeral home in Detroit, Michigan!

Back in Dec, my grandmother passed away and we held her service here. I'm glad that the people here were nice, helpful, and sensitive to our needs during that time. One of the men helped fill in to speak + guide the service when our original speaker didn't show up. They even thanked us at the end for being one of the nicest + polite families to enter here, which we all appreciated it. I'm thankful to everyone that helped us that day.
