Our father Dennis Scanland had pre-arrangements with a previous funeral home where he worked that had closed. We were transferred to Voran Funeral Home in Dearborn for our father's pre-arrangments when he passed away this past week. Everything from meeting with the director, lots of calls/questions that we had for them, the use of the particular room that we wanted, the ease of walking through what was going to take place, the viewing, the way the room looked so beautiful & warm, comforting & caring when we walked in, our dad's many items we wanted on display, everything from start to finish was absolutely remarkable. All of your staff were great. Your funeral home is decorated beautifully. We loved the downstairs roomy kitchen area for the guests staying there all day with us. Everyone whom we met were extremely caring, kind and friendly. Thank you so much for all that you did to make this one of the most difficult experiences in our life to be a blessing for us.

Had a great experience with Voran in the past for my dad and now recently with my mom’s passing . Sam was so nice and helpful. She was very compassionate and listened to our wishes. Would recommend to anyone.

We were recommended to your family owned company by a family friend and I can't thank them and you guys enough for how amazing everything was. Patrick made everything so easy! He was so easy to talk to and compassionate, he made this process something that I felt I could handle, not a big scary thing. Having multiple locations was so nice, we originally wanted the Taylor Chapel but sadly that wouldn't work with our schedule and Patrick was more than willing to move the service to the Dearborn Chapel and was able to meet us the next day to finalize everything. There was never an ounce of pressure to do or purchase anything we felt we didn't need. Jennifer was also an amazing help! She was so helpful and always available on the day of the service. With COVID we knew a service was going to be hard but Voran was so accommodating, they allowed us to bring tables and tents and chairs for outside so we could still sit and tell stories about my Aunt Linda while there were people inside paying their respects. There was another extremely helpful director there who's name sadly I don't remember, but she was spectacular! Every 20 minutes I saw her come in and wipe handles down and spray chairs down and make sure things were as clean and safe as possible for our family and workers at the funeral home. She even recommended to pour the water out of flower pots before putting them in the cars! Talk about customer service. I will totally be recommending this funeral home to people who are looking for a compassionate and professional and personal funeral.
