I have had the honor of dealing with the wonderful staff at Davis Funeral Home on several occasions. They are an amazing and compassionate group of individuals who genuinely care for the families that they serve. They are called upon to care for families when they are hurting and vulnerable. I haven't seen anyone do it better. I am thankful for them.

On Saturday, we had to say goodbye to our mom, Regina Jennings! From the beginning towards the very end, you couldn't ask for nicer/professional during our time of grief! Thanks for all you do!

I have never been so appalled. We had the opportunity to have a last viewing of a member of our family. She left behind a mother, 3 daughters and several grandchildren, who cherished her. Additionally, she had siblings, cousins, neices, nephews and friends who all deeply cared about her. Unfortunately, the death was sudden and unexpected. There were no prior arrangements and no life insurance policy. John, the man who worked with the family, was amazing. He was sympathetic, kind and understanding of their financial limitations. He arranged a small viewing so everyone could say good bye before cremation. During the viewing, Bryan Schrock who is a Funeral Director, was extremely rude and inconsiderate. He made it no secret he did not want to be there. We had family traveling from out of state and, when asked what time the viewing was over, "The sooner the better." Later, one of the daughters made a statement about how her deceased mother was sweating. He corrected her saying, "She's not sweating, she's thawing. She's been out too long." He told them no one else wanted to say this to them because they wanted him to be the bad guy. Bryan, who has been there 20+ years...... So the last memory this family has is of the insensitive, judgemental, hateful man who would rather be literally anywhere else. These girls lost their mother, they are struggling financially, and that's the best he had for them? The worst part, it can never be made better. She is forever gone and this is our forever memory of that experience. Shame on you. Do better.
