Jacksons recently handled the services for a beloved family member. Jay Jackson went way above and beyond to help us in any way he could. Phone calls were returned promptly, details were handled professionally. Every member of his staff was helpful and kind. Recently my family had Jackson Funeral Services do a funeral. Mr. Jackson was off for a few days. The staff did not get the obituary in the paper as they promised. Also, they asked an immediate family member to go and identify the body. They took them to the "garage" and told them to take all the time they needed and closed the door behind them? Now the body was laying in the body bag, opened and covered with a sheet. The body was directly in front of the cremating machine. This is totally unacceptable! Why did they not bring the body into an empty room of the funeral home and let the identification be confirmed there. This one act will cause this family member nightmares for years to come! I never expected these things from Jackson's and it is truly distressing!
