My mother had prepaid her cremation services a few years ago. She asked me to call the funeral to find out what needs to be done when the the time comes. When I called I was told there was a new owner and the new owner was not honoring the old owner’s contracts and that the old owner left with the money and contracts. They also told me that The Funeral and Cemetery Bureau of California were aware of the situation and will not do anything about it. I have filed a complaint with the bureau but I was told that the our money was never entrusted like it was supposed to be. It may become a civil case. I would NEVER use this funeral home. They took our money and ran with it. The new owner is responsible but they don’t care. We have other family members with nightmare stories. Best advice is go elsewhere. These people just want to take your money and run.

The International funeral home staff did an awesome job with my grand mom’s services. I especially thanks to Isabel Padilla for her professional services she was very kind and compassionate throughout the entire process, and very professional! Highly recommended Thank you So much!

I recently used this mortuary only because my father had pre paid for their services. DO NOT USE THIS MORTUARY. Isabell Padilla is the person that was suppose to tend our needs and fell short of doing so. She is so insensitive and nonchalant about the emotional drama we were experiencing at the moment of my dads death. She has thee WORST communication and horrible customer service. We had to change my dads burial date and time twice because she failed to inform me of their availability. Then she tried to charge an additional $95 a day refrigeration fee cause of the change. She also tried to charge me a $1300 “stand by” fee so my father can receive an honorable burial. Which in turn was only $650. I sent her 3 pictures of my father for the mortician and asked for my father to be shaved as in the picture and she assured me that it would be taken care of. I asked if there was a way of seeing my dad prior to the memorial and she said no. When I opened up my dads casket the day of the memorial my father was unshaven and rigor mortis had sent in and my fathers hands were twisted and not placed together as seen in most memorial set ups. It was an horrible feeling. She also didn’t get the American flag for the top of his casket. I called the Riverside National Cemetery to ask if I can request one and it was up to the mortuary to take care of that. Needless to say my hands were tied when I tried to do things myself. The service at International was horrible. I was REALLY close to calling the BBB and Consumer Affairs and getting a lawyer for emotional distress. They were lucky, I feel I could’ve won that situation for sure. If I didn’t have to give them 1 star to post they wouldn’t have gotten any THATS HOW HORRIBLE THIS PLACE IS!!!!
