I've been to, and helped plan, a lot of funerals here. I've only ever had one bad experience. My advice is if you can't get the guy you know to do your service, get someone else from outside to do it. We got a guy in 2012 once who not only did the exact opposite of what we asked him to do, he explained right before he did it that he was going to do it anyway because "it felt right to him". In front of 20 people. People were upset and the deceased wouldn't have wanted that to happen. I'm still upset about that. Other than that, for probably 25-ish years and 7 funerals, 0 other problems. Everyone else has always been fantastic, patient, and understanding. A grandfather and grandmother recently passed this year. Thanks for helping us make these things happen smoothly in the face of drama and pain.

The entire staff at Holmes Coffey Murray Funeral Home was outstanding. They were compassionate, caring and very knowledgeable every step of the way. I am so glad that I chose them to handle the arrangements for my husbands funeral. I would totally recommend them to anyone! A big thank you to Merle and his entire staff from the bottom of my heart!
