I want to.personally thank Jay, Terry & all of the staff at Hockaday Funeral Home for the kindess & help that was shown to me during the loss of my mother, Daisy Cullom. Her service was.perfect & I could not have been made to feel anymore at ease. So many people have complimented the way that everything was carried out. Mama LOVED all of your staff & enjoyed every single minute that she worked there. She told me that many times. Thank you for everything that was done to help with the planning of her service & most of all I want to thank you for allowing her to be a part of the Hockaday Funeral Home family. Kathy DeBerry

The Hockaday Funeral staff are very much loved and appreciated for their genuine care and quality service. I could never thank Jay and his staff enough for their kindness and compassion when my father passed away in 2013. Hockaday Funeral and staff will always be loved as family.

I was very unhappy with the way they handled my grandfather’s funeral. They did not tell anyone what to expect beforehand. They didn’t even give the pallbearers any instructions or anything like that. Half of them were teenage boys, so why would they expect them to know what to do? That’s beyond me. They also were very disrespectful in the way that they would get around my great-grandmother(who is 98 years old & obviously high-risk for COVID 19) without any masks and speak directly at her. I will never let them handle another funeral in my family and I would advise anyone reading to do the same. Absolutely terrible. My grandfather was the best man I have ever met & they simply did not do him justice.
