My husband’s family is from the area and has always used Cofield’s for any local family funeral, but this was my first time working with them directly. They handled everything related to my mother in law’s funeral and we could not be more pleased with the experience. That they were so professional was great, but more importantly the customer service was exceptional. Bettie Cofield was so kind and compassionate during an incredibly difficult time for us. Junior Cofield also deserves mentioning as he came to the funeral to make sure everything went smoothly, not realizing that we had requested he sing and play at the funeral as well. Even though he wasn’t aware, he quickly picked a few selections and he was so flawless no one even realized he only learned about the request a few minutes before the funeral started. Everything went perfectly and everyone we spoke to afterwards said the same. To top it off, Junior Cofield stopped by the hotel after the funeral to surprise us with a personalized blanket with my mother in law’s picture on it along with her birth and death dates which brought a genuine smile to my husband’s face for the first time since his mother’s passing. A HUGE thank you to everyone at Cofield’s Funeral Home! We appreciate everything you did to make sure Mrs. Motley had a proper send off.
