The Higgins Funeral Home blessed me and my husband this past weekend. I had unexpectedly lost our baby girl at 18 weeks and they came to the hospital and treated us with so much respect. We knew she was in good hands. I can’t thank them enough. Through the difficult time you could see how much it hurt their hearts to see us having to lay our precious baby girl to rest. I could never thank them enough. 6/22/24 was beyond perfect. They made sure everything was ready and setup for us and they kept everything organized even on such short notice.

Our family was overwhelmed with the love, attention to details, and professional staff at Higgins. We are eternally grateful to everyone. You made a very difficult time in our lives a blessing as we celebrated Tony's home going. Thank you.

I previously made a post but my thoughts have recently changed after attending a recent funeral. I long for the days when the funeral home was run by Mr. Phillip, Charles and Clay. Man do I miss Mr. Phillip! I wish Charles and Clay hadn't retired. I won't list my complaints but it's just not the same without them. Change ain't easy. Let's pray things return as it used to be. Update: November 07, 2023. --------------------------- Higgins Funeral Home has always been who my family has used and they have treated us well. I knew Mr. Phillip and Mr. Charles well and they alway treated us so kind. I never knew Clay as well but he was also polite and welcoming. I'm sad that Mr. Charles and Clay have moved out of town and decided to retire because I will miss them there but I do think the staff they chose to continue to run the funeral home for them is doing a good job. It's just sad when this happens because change is hard but its life. Maybe one day another family member will want to continue the tradition and run the funeral home again.
