I am only giving them 1 star because the funeral is over. DON'T USE THESE PEOPLE. They lack compassion and customer service. They will try to fast talk you into a corner. Do not release your death benefits to them. They will even threaten to hold/lien on your dead family members. They are slow moving in getting death certificates. It has been 3 weeks and I am still waiting. No matter what you pay they will keep coming up with additional cost. Their website has additional fees every time you use it. My family will be taking this matter further.

Integrity, that's important to have if you are a funeral director. I never used them for this service (yet), but was riding my bike over the St Claude bridge one day. It's always scary because drivers are irresponsible & make it dangerous for bikers. This huge SUV got very close behind me & honked the horn, like I had some where else to go? He sped by me after we cleared the bridge & I caught him at the light & shared my thoughts. Flash 3-4 weeks later: got a flat as I cleared the bridge one day & was on the sidewalk fixing the tire. The door opens & a gentleman comes out & says "Hey, you're the guy I got into it with on the bridge a while back". I peered up and realized I was outside hie funeral business. Before I could say anything he said; "Sorry, I was wrong & I apologize". I just smiled & thanked him as he got in his car to go. This is the kind of people I wanna do business with, especially important business like his. Integrity.

First let me say Thank You to the wonderful caring Staff at Heritage Funeral. From the initial first phone call Mr. Author was very caring, professional and sincere. Upon my visit the receptionists was very professional and caring, During the planning process Ms. Shana was patient and very helpful as I had never planned a funeral before they were not trying to sell the most expensive services they actually listened to my requests and was able to guide me in the best financial direction suitable for me. (I did call other Funeral Directors but before I could explain what I was looking for they all asked how much was my policy.) Not Heritage they were patient and accommodating and most of all very inexpensive.
