I am a native Staten Islander and only know of this place through my uncle who had lived in the Bronx over 50 years. He passed away in 2015 but had instructed us to utilize Herbert T. McCall for funeral services. As he was dying of cancer, we made an appointment 3 months prior to his passing to discuss burial. As this was my first time making arrangements solo, I must say Sheryl and Sheila were very welcoming, respectful, helpful and professional. They were patient explaining all procedures and making suggestions that made the process easier to navigate. They also made recommendations to not take services that I didn't need. Not at any time did Sheila ask for money. Once concluded, I asked her how can I pay. Fast forward to February 2nd 2020. My dear mother had passed away. 😫 I called to apprise them of my mother's death and they came to Staten Island to retrieve her without hesitation. They were very accommodating and did an exceptional job on my mother as well as the services themselves. As her services were in a church, my mother was transported from Staten Island back to the Bronx and returned to the church the next day for her homegoing services. I can only speak from my experiences and I am very pleased with the quality and level of service provided and would highly recommend this establishment.

Very knowledgeable. My Family has used this place throughout the years. They did my Father's service. My Dad went out in style. He looked so good. Just like he was sleeping. Ms. Sheila was very respectful and kind with my Mom. Never mentioned price. Told Us what we did and did not need. No pressure. Works with all budgets. I highly recommend them.

About 2yr ago my uncle pass away i contacted this funeral home and from the phone and in person this place is very respectful. They help me out and this was my first time doing funeral agreement on my own. I was and am satisfy with the professionalism they have shown me and my family. I recommend this funeral home to anyone who is looking for one or give them a call to set up a meeting.
