My father passed, two weeks ago, Hart's Mortuary in Gray was wonderful! We received excellent service from everyone. They have even checked on us, afterwards, to make sure we are doing okay.

We lost our Father last week and Harts of Gray handled the arrangements . I cannot sing their praises enough. The employees at Harts went above and beyond to make sure we were happy with the arrangements for my Dad. We are so pleased with Harts of Gray and I recommend them to anyone who wants their loved ones treated with the utmost dignity and respect. Cheryl Walsh

I feel obligated to write this review as I feel my father deserved better, as does yours. My journey with Harts started ~ 1 week prior to my father's death. I spoke with Roy Miller with whom I provided all information requested. I was assured that information would be logged in the computer so that despite who I talked to, they would have my information. Unfortunately, the day my father died things changed. I was contacted the day of his death by Milton Heard. He was less than prepared with my information and was somewhat abrasive. He was to send paperwork via email, that I had to request multiple times. I had to make multiple request for follow-up emails, phone calls, etc. I called for 2 days straight, with no return calls, to see if the remains were ready for pick-up and to pay my bill. Finally I reached a genuinely concerned employee who informed me that the remains were, and had been ready for pick-up. We immediately went to collect the remains, only to realize they were prepared incorrectly. I spoke with Mr. Heard to express my disappointment, only to be met with a nonchalant attitude. I write this review in hopes that another family will not have to go through the disappointment that I have been through. I had higher expectations from a business that specializes in this area.
