Thank you Hamilton’s. We chose Kim as our funeral director and she was fantastic. The entire team, at both the Westown Parkway and Lyon Steet locations were so helpful and sincere. Kim made my family feel heard and respected; she even found a way to manage the multiple requests from the different family members flawlessly. She made the time for us in our time of need. Options were provided to us that we didn’t even know were available. We received the comfort and closure we all so greatly needed. Our two drivers, both named Jim, were professional and stayed for the entire service. The family never felt rushed - from death to burial we were given as much time as we needed. Directly after my father’s passing, Phillip came prepared to gently do what needed to be done and answer any questions we had. Once again, thank you Kim and thank you Hamilton’s.

This review is in reference to the gift shop. We visited to see memorial jewelry options for our parents. While there, my nephew was asked about his injury. He shared that he had spina bifida. The clerk then made an uniformed and rude comment about spina bifida birth rates. I also saw a Isabel Bloom figurine with a price tag of $95, which earlier that week I had purchased from the nearby Isabel Bloom store for $65. Hamilton's Funeral Home directors do a wonderful job, but they need to better screen how the gift shop is staffed and managed.

January 28th, 2014 I walked into Hamilton to make arrangements to say goodbye to my son Octavian Poseidon who was still born on 1/25/14 at 21+2 weeks. With so much heartache, I managed to make such arrangements. Everyone was so nice, was patient, and answered all my questions. When I picked up his ashes again, very friendly, patient, understanding and warm attitude. Obtaining his death cert, was hard on me, but they handle my request with respect and sensitivity. When asked "what is harder to cope with, loosing a child who is older or unborn" they expalined "when loosing an older child you grief what you had, but when you loose a baby you grief what you should have" and they mentioned mommies with hope. Thank you Hamilton for taking care of my baby, Octavian Poseidon, and thank you for mommies with hope as they have made such a positive impact in my life and have helped me move forward after such a devasting loss.
