We used Greenhill Funeral Home for my brother's funeral. Tom Dugan was very professional, very cordial, very understanding and compassionate as well as very accomodating and paying close attention to details as requested. My brother looked natural, like he was just sleeping. Brandi and Erin in the Owasso office were very kind, worked hard on everything despite my challenge of adding tons of pics to the slide show. They were very professional and nice to everyone who attended the funeral. Would recommend to anyone and will use again if the need arises.

This funeral home was recommended at the heart hospital as being one of the less expensive cremation providers. A positive: staff met me after hours to pick up mom’s remains (I’d missed a lot of recent work under the circumstances). Before I paid, an expectation was set. But after I paid, it took longer than promised to have the remains ready. I’m still wondering if/when I’ll get the death certificate. No follow up, no known reason of what is causing the delay, if “dr. Has signed off yet?”, etc. I have very little experience with funeral homes or this process but I’m wondering if I’d chosen a different funeral home, if I’d already have those forms in my hand? And wish this would have been explained before payment, 3 weeks ago. I can’t move forward with anything, I can’t even request medical records, etc. Hopefully if someone reads this, they could ask better questions or understand up front it can take up to 3 mos. to get the certificate back here (admittedly, this may be standard and I just didn’t know).

Greenhill Funeral Home in Owasso was a disappointment. The facility is beautiful, however, the service is awful & lacks professionalism. To my dismay, acquaintances (non family members)were allowed to view my husbands before the kids & i (wife of 38 years)was notified his body was ready. It was very upsetting & disrespectful. At the funeral the family was to be escorted in and seated together (standard protocol). Tom was telling family to hurry & find a seat. No one was escorted in. When my daughter & I walked in we sat on the front row on the right side. Tom came up & told us to move to the other side (left side) because that was where pallbearers were to sit. It was very embarrassing being asked to move in front of 200+ people. They failed to video or live stream the service and also messed up the video of his life, allowing it to start playing again after it was finished. At the conclusion of the service, we (the family) had expressed how we wanted the viewing carried out, but unfortunately it didn't happen as requested. Also, we were told there would be police escort to the cemetery, which didn't happen. GreenHill was responsible to leave a grave marker at the grave site - didn't happen. Tom seemed very distracted. More staff is needed. A positive - they did an excellent job on my how my husband looked. Wouldn't recommend & our family will not be using GreenHill again.
