If there was an option above 5 star I'd choose that. I can't begin to explain how above and beyond this place went for my father in laws funeral. Everyone was so helpful, kind, compassionate, and caring. the detailed thoughtfulness in each step of the ceremony was creative, simple, and very beautiful. They made what is already a difficult time in our lives, an easy and seamless process. The way they conduct their service put our family at ease and lifted a huge weight off of our shoulders. It was a beautiful ceremony and I cannot commend this company enough for how they handled it. 10/10.

Everyone showed compassion, respect in picking up my husband in our home and throughout funeral. They walked me through every detail patiently. They offer gifts for Memorial and memories totally unexpected or even considered. Having prepaid and planned a year in advance helped remove the confusion since his death was unexpected. We figured the need would be years away. Just a phone called at the time of death removed any concern for "now what do i do".

Wilmington Funeral & Cremation has always done a great job anytime I have been there for an unfortunate event. However, I did not realize how awesome of a job they do, until my mom passed. Doug Bevell turned our worst of days around for us. He treated us with the most respect, and compassion. Doug helped us from the beginning to the end. He even showed up and helped us with her service on his own time, on the beach, on a Sunday, after one of his own friend's funeral and also during a tropical storm. He also brought us memorial cards to give to those that came. I will never be able to thank Doug enough for everything he did for us. A man, that I hardly knew became not only a friend, but part of our family. Thank you Doug we will forever appreciate you!
