Marcia had met with me a few times over the last few years to prepare for my mother’s funeral. She is very detail oriented and so organized. She would bear with me when I was overwhelmed and emotional, helping me budget as we went along, writing out helpful lists of what was done and had to be done next. After mom passed, Liz was our contact person and is wonderful, balancing compassion and empathy while still managing the business end of things thoroughly. She took notes during our initial funeral service planning, not only funeral related but also specific to my mother, and included a small gesture meaningful to our family at my mother’s service. As a result of the helpful staff and preparing ahead of time, family stress was minimized and mom had a beautiful life celebration, just as she wished and we wanted for her.
