They always responded to all questions and requests in a timely fashion (emails were responded to within minutes/hours). They were knowledgeable, polite and a pleasure to work with. They made sure that our cultural needs were accomodated. They helped us create a truly unique and beautiful memorial service for our beloved mom. They were respectful and supportive each step of the way- from planning to interment (Jacob stayed with us throughout the whole process for which we are so grateful). In addition, the funeral home in Bensenville is just a beautiful location with high ceilings and stained glass windows. It has a long history, which makes it very traditional and charming. Our visitation was quite large, and we were able to accommodate everyone, which was wonderful. In terms of costs and fees- everything was well explained and transparent. My family has been using Geils Funeral Home for decades. I remember going there as a kid and have gone there throughout the years for all of our lost family and loved ones. When we lost our Mom approximately 2 weeks ago it was not expected and caught my family off guard. This was an extremely traumatic experience for my Father, my two sisters and myself. We were in a tailspin. Very lost and confused. We knew some of my Moms wishes, but had to fill in the blanks. We all agreed almost instantly that we would have everything done at Geils. This is the first time I ever have had to deal with planning a funeral myself with my family. We called the funeral home and after talking with Ryan, we came in the next day to discuss our options. Ryan was extremely comforting and truly understood that we did not know what we were doing and did not plan on doing this any time soon. Ryan did not take advantage of us, and as we expressed all of our concerns he immediately came up with a solution for all of them. We were walked step by step through all of our options and after everything was said and done, we had a beautiful service 3 days later. Ryan did everything we spoke about and more in just 3 DAYS!
