I was thoroughly impressed with the level of grace, professionalism and compassion shown by Anthony and Chad. From the first time I contacted Anthony he went above and beyond helping me to organize things for my Dad, who was on hospice. He informed me of what I needed to do and how I could get in touch with him any time. When my Dad passed just hours later he made sure his staff was there as soon as hospice left. He's been in touch the whole process and afterwards. Chad did an amazing job with fixing my Dad up. He shaved him, dressed him and made him almost appear as good as he did before he got sick. Dad even appeared to have a slight smirk on his face. If I could give Garrett's more than 5 stars I would give them 10. I HIGHLY recommend them to anyone in our community and I appreciate all they did for my Dad and my family. Thank you also to the support staff behind the scenes. We appreciate you.

Approximately 5 years ago, my husband and I sat down with Anthony Messer to discuss pre needs for my mother. On May 28, 2024, my mother passed away and I contacted Anthony right away. Anthony was as always, so very kind, compassionate, and sympathetic about the loss of my mother. He pulled the records from our pre needs discussion and got to work immediately. He met with us at our convenience and helped us finalize my mom's cremation and burial plans. Anthony made us aware of all of our options and made us feel at ease with the features we chose. Anthony is definitely in the right profession. His compassion and sympathetic qualities go beyond just doing a job. These characteristics are embedded in his heart and he has a genuine love for people. Garrett Funeral Home is well known in this area and they have an excellent reputation for the care they provide.
