Steven Baxter at Gannon Funeral Home is a thoughtful and compassionate individual. He was there for us for both my parents. My father passed away in April 2020 in the height of the pandemic. Steven was to only one to help us. And now Steven again was there to help us with my mother. Without a doubt, They took care of my parents with respect and great care. Thank you Steven!

The Gannon Funeral Home was recommended to me by a family member when my husband passed away. I found them to be extremely knowledgeable and accommodating . Steve arranged the transportation and cremation, obtained the death certificates and helped me plan a personalized memorial service with a terrific minister, Rev. David Lothrup. Everything went smoothly. On the following day, Steve personally helped me with the flowers that were received; giving some away to a church across the street and with “downsizing” another arrangement for me to bring home. They also let me keep my husband’s ashes on their premises while I worked out the logistics for their final resting place. All in all, they made doing the things that needed to be done much easier during a difficult time and I highly recommend them.

My brother passed away at the Veteran hospital during the peak of the Covid19 pandemic. Besides dealing with the devastation of suddenly losing a love one, we were also struggling with the nightmarish impact of trying to get my brother cremated during a week that all Funeral Homes in NYC were so overwhelmed.
