When my father passed away I had no idea where to start this is the first time In my life I would ever have to plan a funeral. I wanted to make sure the day went as smooth as possible. I thought that was the very least I could do. He did not have any sort of life insurance or assets so finding somewhere affordable was also important. We were considering Romero funeral home and Latina Funeral Services. I initially chose to go with Romero Funeral home because the reviews for Latina made me hesitant. Needless to say we did not have a great experience with Romero Funeral Home and that left us looking for another funeral home 2 weeks after my father passed away. My husband wanted me to consider Latina funeral services and asked me to just meet with them to see what they could offer our family despite the negative reviews and I AM SO GLAD I listened to him. We met with Iris at latina funeral home and I asked her about the negative reviews on their website right away as it was a big concern for me. She didn't make excuses she didn't get defensive or be rude. She explained the reviews then showed me what they could offer our family during this time. She was so patient, kind, and understanding. The customer service I received from Latina Funeral Home was night and day from what we received at Romero Funeral Home. Not to mention their pricing was a fraction of the price of Romero. The whole team really pulled together and supported my family through the whole process. I am forever grateful to Iris and everyone over at Latina Funeral Home. She made sure to accommodate every request we had and helped me give my dad such a beautiful farewell. My dad loved to ride so the Motorcycle Hearse was an added bonus for us it was important to me for my Dad to get a "Last Ride." Latina services offered that service at a fraction of the price compared to their competitors and the gentleman who drove the hearse was also so kind and caring. I can't remember the woman's name who helped us close the casket after the viewing, but I wish I could, she too was honestly so so sweet. She had so much patients with me I was so grateful for her compassion during that time. I also wanted to note, the services for my dad took place during the hottest week of summer and I can assure you the A/C was functioning properly for our services. I know this review is ridiculously long but I just wanted people like me, who look at the reviews to stop and consider "just meeting with them" like I did and see for yourself what they can offer your family. Dealing with the death of someone you love is not easy, and affordability is also important. You just may be pleasantly surprised like I was. Latina Funeral Services thank you, from the bottom of my heart for your help laying my Daddy to rest.

Iris with Latina was great. My wife was hesitant to go with Latina for her father’s services because of the reviews but I asked her to just meet with them once and then decide. She was so grateful she did. Everyone was great and my father in law had such a beautiful service. Thank you Iris for being such a huge help during such a difficult time!
