This family-owned establishment proved themselves worthy of a 5-star rating. Mr. Smith...or Steve, as he suggested, is the epitome of compassion and professionalism. His competent staff were able to answer all my questons, leaving no stone unturned and making the whole experience, from the initial consultation to the graveside service, a seamless process. They truly helped alleviate the stress I felt in the beginning .I am ever-so grateful for the beautiful way in which my beloved was laid to rest. Thank You Steve and staff.

Please save yourself the heartache during a time of grief, and don't go to this awful business Fresno Funeral Chapel. Dealing with Mr. Smith and his assistant Maria has been frustrating and has caused me unnecessary stress. They have been rude to me on the phone and failed to follow through with the details at this very trying time. My Mother passed away and I am pregnant with my first child. When you are going through a loss like this, you select a company hoping they will make this process as easy and stress free as possible. Unfortunately this was not the case with Fresno Funeral Chapel. They failed to return phone calls to me or my family, communicating with the doctors office for the death certificate, nor did they follow up with me to get her obituary in the Fresno Bee. I was the one dealing with all of that. To top it off my Mother was very well known in the funeral industry and Mr. Smith knew her personally. I can only imagine how he treats the families that he doesn't know. I believe you only get one shot at doing the right thing when it comes to the final arraignments of a loved one. (Note* could not post without "star rating" I do not give them a star)

I recommend this place to anyone rich or poor. Mr. Smith and staff made sure everything was in place for my mother's viewing service. Everything went well,friends and relatives went to pay their respects. Mr. Smith was very understanding, friendly and professional. Nobody complained about it being a terrible place. We are very grateful and blessed that we had support from Mr. Smith and his staff, Thank You and may God bless you.
