My father's funeral in November 2021 was fine but we had questions and issues with the obituary and the payment using Dad's life insurance. The funeral director never sent paperwork to the life insurance company. Right after the funeral he wouldn't answer emails or phone calls. It took 6 months to resolve.

If I could give them negative stars, I would. I went and paid for my husband’s death certificate in person at the funeral home on Friday August 20th. Which is 3 weeks ago today. The director told me someone was running to city hall as we spoke that day, and he would send mine out later that day. Several days went by and I never received it. I called and always reached a secretary who told me she would take a message and have the director call me back. I never received a call back. I called almost every day for over a week and a half, leaving a message with the secretary to receive a call back. Not one of my calls was returned. Not even one of them. I finally called and happened to reach the director himself. He said he sent it out and was not sure why I had not received it. He said he would send out another copy via certified mail so that I could sign for it. It’s been 9 days since he told me that and I still have received nothing. I have been home every day while the mailman came. I finally went out to speak with my mailman yesterday and asked if anything certified mail had been sent to me. He said nothing certified had been sent to me. But asked me to get the tracking number from the funeral home to find out where it is. I called the funeral home twice yesterday, again with zero phone calls back. At this point, something strange is going on. I try to play devil’s advocate and think maybe they wrote down the wrong address. But there’s no excuse for never calling me back. I must have left my telephone number with the secretary over 10 times. I either want my husband’s death certificate or I want my money refunded to me. Or I will be calling the BBB on this funeral home. I have truly never received worst customer service by any business in my entire life.

My fathers funeral was here, and we appreciated the care and attention we were given during the preparations for his service. The small, home-like feel of the rooms were very calming.
