The Turner family and staff at Lakewood Funeral Chapel in Lake Jackson, Tx was absolutely impeccable. They handled my father’s funeral perfectly. From the evening he passed, through all of the final arrangements and visitation, to providing personal information about my father to the priest performing the service, to today, having me give final proof of the details for the death certificate application. Our family will never forget the grace, love and respect we were treated with.

The staff made members of the family uncomfortable with their constraints and costs for planning a service, refused to commit to a date for the memorial service more than a few days in advance and gave inaccurate information on timing for submitting the obituary to the local papers. There were several delays in the cremation process which I believe were outside their control; however, they did not keep the family updated through the process. We had to keep calling and tracking down an update which was upsetting during an already emotional time. We decided to make our memorial service arrangements with an event center and had a beautiful, stress free service. You may want to choose another funeral home.

I give them no star because when my grandma passed away last year we had her cremated here and they where very rude to are family even when we asked questions they would respond rude and then come to find out her ashes where Leaking and they didn’t tie the bag up right. And they just threw her in the box with the bag half tied. And to we had to hire a lawyer just to view my grandma cause they wouldn’t let us view her until the payment was made in full and nobody should have to go thru this Would not recommend this funeral home for anyone that wants to have funeral here or cremate there loved one 👎🏼👎🏼
