I wasn't sure how a Covid-era funeral would go. I had really low expectations and didn't think it would really feel right. The opportunity to mourn outside next to my family and interact with some distance meant more to me than I knew. It rained that day, and they had set up a nice tarp. They put some fake grass down too. That way we weren't stepping on other's graves. The urn was beautiful. The vault cap was lovely, and the staff were professional and thoughtful. I think Leah was helping us. Perfect demeanor, and she even took a family picture. Thank you for helping us mourn, and giving us a safe space to grieve together but apart. It made all the difference.

Full transparency, I worked for this company for over fifteen years. However, not this specific location. I left the company a year ago. Okay so, having said that, the staff here have always been wonderful and the facility and cemetery are top notch. The staff here truly care about the families they serve. I mean that. Are the perfect? Is anyone perfect?... The answer is no, right? However, having been behind the scenes, they regularly go above and beyond at Forest Lawn for the families they serve. In my opinion, they do all of that because the ultimate compliment of seeing the families they serve get the closure they need, is far above the adulation of others or even more mundane incentives like wages. What I'm trying to say is, the staff at forest lawn care! Thanks for what you do! Highly recommended!
