1.The funeral home picked up my mother's body on 1/23/2024. However, the body wasn't cremated until about a week ago. Huh? Each time, Jay ( the director) blamed it on everything from his busy schedule to probate . 2. Jay afterwards MAILED me mother's remains in a USPS box. There was no urn ( which was included in the price). He was supposed to meet with me today to give me the urn & the 100 obituaries ( both included in the price), but he NEVER showed, called, or texted.. 3.I told him " if mailing the remains is how you wanna do business, then mail them". I guess that's how he prefers to do business. He didn't even have enough respect to put the remains in my hands. 4. I have held off on a memorial service because of his poor, and unprofessional handling of mthese services.. I still have no urn or obituaries to go forward.with the memorial. 5. Jay ( Ferguson Brothers Funeral Home)has been paid in full, but has not delivered on what they were paid for......with the exception of MAILED cremation remains.. There has been no offer to make it right, and no apologies given. Just excuses. Do yourself a favor and don't do business with this funeral service. The grief & heartache they have caused me over the unprofessional handling of my loved one is inexcusable. I will be seeking other legal avenues of reimbursement for a job poorly done. Not to mention the psychological hurt that has come as a result. One does not expect the very people who are entrusted to help the bereaved move on in comfort and serenity to display such a flippant and uncaring attitude regarding a passed loved one. These people do not care. They need to be held accountable. I have only communicated with them in writing after I saw things going awry, but I encourage everyone to do it from the start of you're going to use them anyway. Nothing Jay says can be trusted. Spend your money somewhere else and spare yourself & your loved ones the pain.
